Anne's gasoline Anne shoes

Class Ho me

There weren't TV's, but their were shows on the radio that they listened to. Now we have TV's, with shows like " Hannah Montana", "That's So Raven", and many more.
She said like all kids she wanted a bicycle, and she said she would have felt weird without one.
Like all kids I want an Ipod, and would feel weird without one.
She said that her daddy used a lawnmower without a motor and he had to push it! My daddy uses one that has a seat, a motor, and he doesn't have to push it.
One of the rules in Memphis , TN where she lived, was that you couldn't blow horns because Memphis had won the Quietest City Medal three years in a row. In Caruthersville,Mo, one of the main rules is to not set fireworks off in the city because it could catch something on fire or hurt some body.
Anne said gasoline was 25 cents a gallon back when she was a little girl.
Now days, gas is an estimated 2.00 a gallon. (I hope it will go down when I'm able to drive!)
She said violence was nothing compared to what it was like now days and she can't believe how often it happens. Violence seems like it happens everyday becuase I hear the reports on the news and in the newspaper.

They wore Sattle Oxfords, Loafers, and Penny Loafers.

We wear New Balance, Duckheads, Nike, and lots more.
Anne said that perms were hotter and they took all day.

Today, ladies can go to the salon, and they won't be sweating when they come out!

Her nickname was Dot.

My nicknmae my friends gave me is "Annie."

Last but not least, she said she loved growing up in a big city, but now she loves living in a small town.

I love living in a small town, but I love traveling to big cities.

I wish I was 10 when Anne was ten because gas cost 25 cents and now it costs almost two whole dollars! So, the big cars have to pay for more gas than the smaller cars.I wish it was still that much because we could go farther away from home, see more places, and do things for a longer time.

I'm glad I'm ten now because there are more modern things like Ipods, bigger televisons, cd players, and many more inventions. When Anne was ten she had a radio, a bycycle, toys, and other things to keep her entertained.
