Chocolate! Is there anything better? Do you love the sweet, simple pleasure that chocolate brings? Do you like nuts and caramel? Let's be chocolate experts. Let's create a new candy bar and advertise your creation so that people will fight for it!! First, let's see what you know by filling out this K-W-L chart. (Print)

* Using the websites in this webquest, research the history of chocolate.

* Create a new candy bar.

* Develop a slogan for your candy bar.

* Advertise your new candy bar by creating a poster with your candy bar and slogan.

1. Form a team with three other students.

2. Research the site:http://www.hersheys.com/discover/chocolate.asp and answer the following questions:

* What are the ingredients in making chocolate?

* How are candy bars formed?

*What is the main ingredient in chocolate?

3. Visit the following web sites:

4. Create a recipe for a new candy bar including all ingredients.

5. Develop an advertisement for your candy bar, write a slogan, and make a poster.
